Project Detail

Expanding Our Presence in the Minerals Sector

Mining has been an integral part of J Infratech Limited business capabilities, particularly through our involvement in quarrying and crushing activities supporting road and infrastructure projects. Building on this established operational experience, the Company is now expanding its presence into the iron ore business.

J Infratech Limited is successfully operating in NMDC Limited in Bailadila region of Chhattisgarh, covering the strategically important mining areas of Bacheli and Kirandul.

J Infratech Ltd is building a scalable supply chain of Iron ore.

Iron Ore Operations

  • Bacheli: 90 lakh tonnes of iron ore.
  • Kirandul: 35 lakh tonnes of iron ore.
  • Planned annual handling capacity: Approximately 20 lakh tonnes at Bacheli and approx. 14 lakh tonnes at Kirandul.

This expansion marks an important step in J Infratech mineral division growth journey, leveraging our existing expertise in quarrying, aggregate production, stone crushing, material handling and infrastructure execution.

With a strong foundation in road and infrastructure projects, J Infratech is now strengthening its capabilities across the mining value chain and entering the iron ore segment with a focus on operational efficiency, responsible resource management, safety and sustainable growth.

Building on Existing Expertise

Our entry into iron ore is not a completely new direction for J Infratech. The Company’s Mining Division has already been involved in quarrying and stone-crushing operations for its road and infrastructure projects. This experience provides a strong operational foundation as we broaden our activities into iron ore and mineral-related businesses.

From infrastructure development to minerals and mining, J Infratech continues to build capabilities that support India’s growing infrastructure ecosystem.
